Architectural Design
We design living and working spaces with aesthetics, functionality and user experience at the centre, developing an approach specific to each project.
What design actually solves
The value of a building is not decided by its square metres but by how those square metres are arranged. Architectural design settles, in advance, how rooms relate to one another, where daylight falls through the day, which corner you will actually sit in and which wall needs to stay quiet.
How the process runs
- Brief. How many people will live there, how the day is spent, what the habits are — design begins with these questions.
- Site and orientation. Position, sun path, view and the relationship with neighbours shape the plan directly.
- Concept and sketch. First massing and plan studies. Changes at this stage are free; on site they are not.
- Three-dimensional presentation. Decisions are tested visually before anything is built.
- Handover to documentation. The approved design becomes a full drawing set.
What we pay attention to
Not wasting circulation area, planning storage from the outset, grouping wet areas sensibly for services, and the connection to outdoor space. Working around Ayvalık, the sea breeze, wind direction and how much life happens on the terrace all change plan decisions.
